CorporateStack Background: Terms of Use

  • CorporateStack Websites and Platforms: The CorporateStack websites, including www.corporatestack.com and associated subdomains (“Websites”), along with mobile apps, APIs, web interfaces, documentation, and other intellectual property, software, and infrastructure (individually referred to as “CorporateStack Application” and collectively as “CorporateStack”), are owned, operated, and registered by Corporate Stack Solutions FZ LLC (the “Company”), a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Agreement to Terms: These Terms of Use (the “Terms”), including the Privacy Policy available at www.corporatestack.com/privacy-policy (“Privacy Policy”), represent a legal agreement between the Company and you (referred to as “You” or “User”). By accessing or using CorporateStack, you confirm that (i) you are at least 18 years old, and (ii) if you are the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • Changes to Terms: CorporateStack reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will become effective immediately upon being posted on the Website or CorporateStack Application. Your continued use of CorporateStack or its services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes. Please review these Terms periodically to stay informed.
  1. Services and Usage Restrictions
    • Authorized Use: You may use CorporateStack services as per the contractual agreement between you or the organization you represent and the Company.
    • Limited License: Subject to your adherence to these Terms, the Company grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the CorporateStack services.
    • Prohibited Actions: You agree not to:
      1. Use the services for any purpose not explicitly authorized by these Terms.
      2. Interfere with or disrupt the functionality of CorporateStack services or its connected networks.
      3. Attempt unauthorized access to the services, user accounts, or related systems.
    • Service Modifications: The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue the services at its discretion, with or without prior notice. Access may also be denied for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
    • Account Termination: The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms.
  1. Privacy
    Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to the CorporateStack Privacy Policy at www.corporatestack.com/privacy-policy to understand the types of data we collect, how it is used, and the legal basis for processing your data.
  1. Usage of CorporateStack Suite
    • Account Responsibility: As a User, you are responsible for maintaining the security of devices and accounts used to access CorporateStack. You are accountable for all activities under your account.
    • Lawful Use: You may only use CorporateStack services for lawful purposes and must adhere to all applicable laws. You agree not to:
      1. Disrupt or interfere with the use of CorporateStack by others.
      2. Upload or transmit malicious software, viruses, or corrupted data.
      3. Promote or engage in illegal activities, including hacking or unauthorized data distribution.
  1. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, UAE.

Privacy Incident and Complaint Procedures

At CorporateStack, we take your privacy seriously and are committed to ensuring that your data is protected. In the event of a privacy incident or if you have a complaint regarding the handling of Scoped Data, we have a formal process in place to address and resolve the matter promptly. Our procedures are designed to provide transparency, accountability, and timely resolution of privacy concerns.

If you believe there has been a privacy incident or wish to file a complaint, please follow the steps below:

  1. Report the Incident
    To report a privacy incident or complaint, please contact our Privacy Officer at Privacy@corporatestack.com
    Kindly provide detailed information, including:
    • A description of the incident or concern
    • The type of data involved (e.g., personal, sensitive, Scoped Data)
    • Any relevant dates and times
    • Any actions or steps you’ve taken
  2. Investigation Process
    Upon receiving your report, our team will initiate an internal investigation. We will review the details of the incident, gather relevant information, and assess the potential impact on your privacy. This process is typically completed within 3 working days.
  3. Assessment and Resolution
    After completing the investigation, we will evaluate the findings and determine the appropriate course of action. If the complaint is substantiated, we will take corrective measures to address the issue. These actions may include:
    • Enhancing security protocols
    • Notifying affected individuals (if applicable)
    • Taking steps to prevent future incidents
  4. Communication and Follow-up
    We will keep you informed throughout the process, providing updates on the status of your complaint and the steps being taken to resolve it. If further action is required on your part, we will guide you accordingly.
  5. Preventive Measures
    To prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, we will implement additional security measures, refine our privacy policies, or conduct further employee training based on the findings of the investigation.
